Welcome — Let’s Build Something

There are more programming languages, frameworks, tools, and AI products today than ever before.

JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Rust, React, Docker, Kubernetes, LLMs, AI agents, databases, cloud platforms — the list keeps growing.

It is exciting.

It is also a little overwhelming.

So, I decided to create this blog.

Why Another Developer Blog?

I've always enjoyed learning how things work.

Sometimes that means learning a new programming language. Sometimes it's trying a new framework. Sometimes it's debugging a problem that should have taken five minutes but somehow takes an entire afternoon.

And increasingly, it means experimenting with AI.

This blog is a place to document those experiments and share what I learn along the way.

I'm not trying to create another collection of articles that simply explain the basics of a technology. I want to explore things by building, experimenting, breaking things, and figuring out why they work the way they do.

What Will I Write About?

A few areas I'm particularly interested in:

Programming

I'll be exploring languages and technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Rust, React, and Node.js.

Some posts may be beginner-friendly. Others may go much deeper into how things work under the hood.

AI

AI is probably the most interesting area of technology right now.

I'll be experimenting with LLMs, AI coding tools, agents, RAG, AI APIs, and ways developers can actually use AI in their day-to-day work.

The goal isn't to chase every new AI announcement.

Instead, I'll be asking practical questions:

Can I actually build something useful with this?

And if the answer is yes, I'll try to build it.

Software Engineering

Software development isn't just about writing code.

Architecture, performance, testing, debugging, observability, security, databases, deployment, and scalability all become increasingly important as applications grow.

I'll write about these areas too, particularly when I encounter interesting problems or learn something worth sharing.

Learning in Public

One of the reasons I'm starting this blog is to make my own learning more deliberate.

Writing forces you to understand something properly.

It's easy to think:

"Yeah, I understand how that works."

Then you try to explain it to someone else and discover that you don't.

Writing exposes those gaps.

So this blog will also be a record of things I'm learning — including things I get wrong.

There will probably be experiments that don't work, approaches that turn out to be bad ideas, and technologies that I decide aren't worth using.

That's part of the process.

What I Hope You Get From This

If you're a developer, I hope you find something here that helps you:

Understand a technology a little better

Solve a problem you're currently facing

Discover a useful tool

Learn something new

Avoid a mistake I've already made

Get an idea for something you can build

And maybe occasionally, an article will send you down an interesting rabbit hole.

Those are usually my favorite kind.

Let's Get Started

This is the first post, so there isn't much of an archive yet.

But that's about to change.

I'll be adding tutorials, experiments, technical deep dives, AI projects, and notes from things I'm building and learning.

If that sounds interesting, stick around.

Let's learn something, build something, and see where it takes us.

Welcome to the blog.
